Home Town: Gainesville, FL Website: http://www.flyinggypsiesband.com Email: g8rmate@cox.net Profile: The Flying Gypsies began at a Bon Fire party at the Flying Ten airport in 2001. Joining in with front man "Rock-n-Roll" Frank that night was true gypsy Patti Flewelling and Mike Burke. The original "core" the "Gypsies 3" began a musical collaboration that has grown to become one of the most entertaining cover groups around. Joining the group next was bassist, Frank Varosi "Frankie V". This group performed its first club gig as the "Flying Gypsies" at Emeralds Lounge in Gainesville, Florida. From there, keyboardist Henry Raimato, lead guitarist Tony McMahon and drummer Eric Bingham have joined the group to fill out the sound. In addition to strong instrumental skills the group''s range of vocal abilities and sweet harmonies have become a trademark. The Flying Gypsies provide live cover music for all type of events where good music and fun are needed. Our Song List consists of many good old time rock-n-roll dance favorites as well as jazzy, easy listening tunes. Our client list includes Gigs at private "special events'' such as holiday parties, wedding receptions and other celebrations. The Band includes an eclectic array of professionals by day, musicians by night who are passionate about music and the joy it brings. This passion is what drives the Flying Gypsies.
